There’s a noodle shop near Xingfu Lu in Suqian, where compassion arrived without fanfare. One man struggled to eat, another stepped forward with a spoon and patience; and in that small gesture, an ordinary lunch became something quietly unforgettable indeed.

The man holding the spoon was Chen Yewang, a 34-year-old restaurant owner who has spent more than a decade in the catering trade. The customer had walked in, ordered a bowl of noodles and sat down like anyone else. Then things unfolded.
