The “Paining exhibition of Yangzhou by Ukraine oil painting masters” will be held in art gallery of Yangzhou on Sept 26. It is the second time for Ukraine oil painting masters to come to Yangzhou and they will show the unique beauty of Yangzhou with oil paintings.
The Ukraine school of painting plays an important role around the world and many influential painters such as Repin, A.H.Kyhhii all come from Ukraine.
As this year marks the 2500th year since the city Yangzhou was established, these painters come to Yangzhou again following the footprints of arts to send “birthday gifts” from abroad.
Many paintings themed on streets and gardens of Yangzhou showed this charming city through the painstaking creation of oil painters from Ukraine in Jianzhen Calligraphy and Painting Academy on Sept 21.
“The garden culture impressed me most in Yangzhou and the sophisticated design is really impressive,” Marina, a famous watercolor painter, said. Compared with gardens in Ukraine, gardens in Yangzhou boast much more cultural flavors. It is touching to find the family tour and walking in Chinese gardens. “Yangzhou is the paradise for artists,” she said.
