The Nanjing cheerleading team, composed of 12 young girls, will go to Orlando, the US on Apr, 21, for the 2015 Cheerleading World Championship at the end of this month. With an average age of younger than 20, these players won the championship in the Nanjing Cheerleading Open Tournament last year.
Their coach Li Li said the routine this time will both consider the western popular elements and add many Chinese elements into music, dance and costumes.
More than half the 12 players are graduates from Xuanwu Technical Secondary School. The school is titled as “National Youth Bodybuilding Training Center” by the Gymnastics Management Center of the General Administration of Sport.
