Zhang Xiaojian, a villager of Xinli village, Chengdong town, Hai’an county, Jiangsu province, harvested a super large potato that weighs as much as 7.05kg.
She has planted potatoes in only one 40-meter-long ridge this year, said Zhang. Besides the potato “giant”, four or five potatoes weighing three or four kilograms were also harvested. Such an unexpectedly big potato surprised Zhang herself, as she didn’t give any special care to the potato field. She only transplanted the potato seedlings a little earlier.
