This day, 30 December, in 1983, with the approval of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, China joined the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Utilisation of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies, the first legal treaty in the world with guiding significance for the peaceful exploration and use of outer space by all countries.
1983年12月30日的这一天,经全国人民代表大会常务委员会批准,中国加入了《国家探索和利用包括月球和其他天体在内的外层空间活动的原则条约》,这是世界上第一个对所有国家和平探索和利用外层空间具有指导意义的法律条约。
