This day, 20 September, in 1994, at the 38th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Chinese representative, Ambassador Chen Shiqiu, together with those of 38 other countries, including Britain, France, Germany, India, Japan, Pakistan, Russia and the United States, jointly signed the Convention on Nuclear Safety.
这一天，即1994年9月20日，在国际原子能机构第38届大会上，中国代表陈世秋大使与包括英国、法国、德国、印度、日本、巴基斯坦、俄罗斯和美国在内的其他38个国家的代表共同签署了《核安全公约》。
