This day, 17 May, in 2019, on International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), the Legislative Executive of Taiwan implemented its “Act for Implementation of J.Y. Interpretation No. 748”, in the process becoming the first place in Asia to recognise same-sex marriages.
