This is a line which is going to make a big difference in the lives of a great many people in Nanjing. It’s the southern section of Metro Line 7; a total of nine stations, which, it has been revealed, shall be receiving their first passengers before 2023 is out.

Many are likely to be citizens heading to and from places such as BenQ Hospital or the southern Hexi CBD; home to Alibaba and the headquarters of Suguo; or Auchan and Decathlon further north.

The nine stations of Line 7 to open by year end shall be, from north to south, Yingtian Da Jie, Mengdu Da Jie, Xincheng Science Park, Zhongsheng, Jialingjiang Dong Jie, Yongchu Lu, Taiqing Lu, Luotang Lu and the Line’s southern terminus at Xishan Qiao.
