So far I have had a lot of good and bad memories related to my stay here, but this one is the most incredible.
As we know every girl in the world dreams of having a huge wedding party with a lot of guests, having a honeymoon somewhere abroad, and living happily ever after with her husband and children. Alas, I could never imagine that this dream of mine could come true so unexpectedly here in China, and moreover, I could never imagine I would marry a foreigner, especially an Uzbekistan citizen.
But my so much dreaming marriage lasted only one day, or more precisely several hours. I was happy to marry, but the disappointment was more when I learnt that my spouse already married and had two children.
However we are now good friends. We always remember our marriage, the wedding ceremony and make jokes about it, calling each other former husband and former wife.
The truth is I took part in an event organized in Dafeng for foreigners to experience the traditional Chinese wedding ceremony, at which the brides and grooms were dressed up with traditional Chinese wedding clothes.
Although everything was perfect and full of fun, I hope that my next marriage can last longer.
