Two machines looking similar to the ATM machine appeared in the dormitory of Yangzhou Polytechnic College recently and many students have withdrawn money from them.
According to Fan Dongmei from UnionPay’s Yangzhou branch, the new machine is a self-service financial device called “Quan Min Fu” (pay for all). In addition to basic financial services such as cash withdrawal, transfer and balance inquiry, it also provides value-added services including cellphone recharging and credit card repayment.
The new machine has caught the attention of many students. “I just withdrew 100 yuan. It is quite convenient. I used to withdraw money from the bank outside the school, but now I only need to go downstairs.” said a student.
