With the Youth Olympics now being officially over one might think that Nanjing’s YOG mascot, Lele, would have retreated from his shining spotlight. Think again.
In addition to the mascots image remaining plastered across every available wall-space in Nanjing, Lele also continues to make bold, attention-grabbing public appearances… especially when you least expect him to!
His most recent appearance? September 1st; the first day of the new school term in China. The school year at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics got off on the right foot, as freshmen students were greeted at the university’s gate by a life-sized YOG mascot and his exciting break-dancing moves. This performance provided the freshman students with a fancy introduction to university life.
