Online sales for student tickets at the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games started from 20:14 of Feb. 18. Student ticket for Nanjing YOG sells at 20 yuan ($3.3).
The YOG student tickets were open to public at a launch event held on the afternoon of Feb. 18 at Nanjing Foreign Language School.
To encourage young students to participate in Nanjing YOG, the organizing committee has issued 130,000 student tickets, which account for 20% of the total YOG tickets.
The YOG student tickets should be bought with student IDs. The ticket has special collection value as the face value is 2014 cents, which is in accordance with the year of 2014.
The launch event also marked the start of a promotion activity called “Invitation from Nanjing”. Students from high schools and primary schools in Nanjing are to send YOG postcards to invite their peers to the Nanjing YOG.
