This day, 13 October, in 2019, during President Xi Jinping’s state visit to Nepal, the two countries issued the “Joint Statement of the People’s Republic of China and Nepal”, elevating the relationship between the two countries to a strategic cooperative partnership of ever-lasting friendship oriented towards development and prosperity.
