This day, 28 September, in 1952, Mongolian Prime Minister, Yumjaagiin Tsedenbal, led a delegation to visit China and became the first foreign head of government to do so since the founding of PRC. He received a high-level reception, with Premier, Zhou Enlai, going to the airport to greet him, while he subsequently attended the National Day ceremony with Chairman, Mao Zedong, in Tiananmen Square.
