Since opening its doors in early 2011, Ellens quickly made a good name for itself through cheap food and drinks and a laid back vibe. Daily drink specials ensured a steady flow of those in search of a tipple on a budget.
Choosing their locations carefully, Ellens 2 was to open soon afterwards, close to the China Pharmaceutical University, while Ellens 3 is slap bang in the middle of Hunan Lu. As the largest and most spacious of the bunch, Ellens 3 is for the moment serving up a very reasonably pizza (in terms of both price and quality), a remarkably fine house red and the usual assortment of drink specials in an almost smoke free atmosphere. Note we did say “For the moment”…
