The torch of the 2nd Asian Youth Games—Blue Jinling, is to embark on its relay tour in Nanjing by both land and water on Friday.
Blue Jinling is to make its way across Xuanwu District and take a dragon boat out in Xuanwu Lake on Aug 2, according to the route plan.
800 torch bearers received intensive training on Jul 28. A total of 552 youths will engage in the torch relay, accounting for more than 70 percent of the total bearers which includes an eldest volunteer aged 71, 46 foreign participants and 17 movie and sports stars.
