A man wearing the uniform of special guard was sleeping inelegantly on the soft sleeper cabin of the train Z156/7 from Taizhou to Harbin on the evening of May 16 and the police found that that man was a wanted criminal.
Liu Gaonong of Nanjing Railway Police Department was inspecting the soft sleeper cabins of the train not long after its departure from Taizhou that evening. Liu found that the man wearing the uniform of special guard was sleeping inelegantly on the sofa. Liu asked the man to show his ID and ticket but the man said he was a special guard with a police station in Nantong and he was on a secret task to Harbin. He said that he left in a hurry and thus didn’t bring any ID. However, Liu found an ID in the man’s luggage and it turned out that the 22-year-old from Nantong, surnamed Zhang, is a fugitive. He was wanted by police for theft of luxurious liquor and cigarettes in a mall in Dalian in July 2014.
Zhang confessed that he worked as a security guard in Dalian and then quit he job. But he kept the uniform with him.
