The 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games (Nanjing 2014) equestrian events will take place at Xinzhuang Equestrian Venue on 19, 20, 23 and 24 August 2014. This is the only discipline in the Youth Olympic Games which will see joint participation from both human beings and animals, with both men and women competing on the same field. The Nanjing 2014 equestrian events will be the first equestrian events in Mainland China which adhere to Olympic standards.
The Nanjing Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee will be holding a press conference on the venue operation for the equestrian events at the Press Conference Hall from 10:00 to 11:30am on 26 June 2014. Relevant personnels will brief on the general operation and renovation of the equestrian venue as well as preparations of the horses for the Games.
