Over 80 “low-voltage dual-circuit high-frequency isolated-grid inverters” made in Suzhou were sold to Britain, according to sources on Mar 18.

“Although they are in small quantities, their advanced inverter technology and the operating voltage of 48 volts made them the world’s lowest voltage photovoltaic inverters,” said Han Xinjian, general manager of the manufacturer.

The inverter is one of the core devices of the photovoltaic configuration. Its role is to convert the direct currents generated by solar radiation into alternating currents which can be used for lighting or electrical equipment. Photovoltaic inverter currently produced in Suzhou has passed the world-renowned laboratory test.

“The high-frequency isolation model we developed is lightweight and efficient, and can be used with the common silicon components or thin-film modules on the market. The model is ideal for household power generation system installed on the roof, which is not achieved by other companies,” said Han Xinjian.
