An online activity was initiated by Librairie Avant-Garde, a famous book store in Nanjing, to mark Mother’s Day, attracting eyes of many net users.
On May 11, the day before Mother’s Day, Librairie Avant-Garde raised the activity on its official Sina Weibo, China’s equivalent of Twitter, calling people to share photos taken with their mothers.
The activity was well received among Sina Weibo users. By May 12, over a hundred users have shared photos on their Weibo. Some even told stories behind the photos, showing profound love to their mothers.
