The Toll-free policy will continue for passenger cars on all expressways during the 2013 Spring Festival, disclosed Nanjing Transport Bureau on 8th Jan.
Learning from the lesson of traffic jams nationwide during the National Day holiday in 2012, expressway departments shall be permitted to control on the start and end time of the toll-free policy during the Spring Festival. During the toll-free time, toll gates will continue to keep the barriers raised as a way of increasing traffic flow.
