While The Nanjinger’s list is far from exhaustive, among the attractions open for free this coming Spring Festival are many which stand out as some the country’s very best.

Beginning in Suzhou, the City’s 73 state-owned scenic spots will be open to the public at no charge. They include Zhouzhuang Ancient Town and the Humble Administrator’s Garden, considered by some to be the finest example of a classical Chinese garden in all of southern China.

Meanwhile, the City’s National 5A Tourist Attraction that is the China Dinosaur Park has prepared discounts for groups, families and students, while healthcare workers, their spouses and children can visit completely free of charge.

North of the Yangtze River, in Yangzhou, people are welcome to visit state-owned scenic spots such as Slender West Lake and Daming Temple on a complimentary basis. Nashan Mountain Geological Park in Yizheng City and Baoying Lake National Wetland Park in Baoying County are also offering discounts to visitors.

Finally, in far northwest Jiangsu, fully 43 tourist attractions in Xuzhou shall be waiving their entrance fees. Among them, the National 5A Tourist Attraction, Yunlong Lake, situated in the centre of the city and featuring Yunlong Lake Water World that is one of Asia’s largest freshwater aquariums.
