With fitness never before more popular, so it is only natural that more people also want to work out in beautiful surroundings. Turns out we’re in luck in that department, as the 10 most beautiful fitness trails in Nanjing have been officially unveiled.
The list, which was released on 7 December, comes about after a 2-week period of online voting by the public, in combination with expert review.
该榜单经过为期两周的公众网上投票，并结合专家评审，于12月7日公布。
Each trail stands out for its beautiful environment, excellent facilities and value-added elements.
每一条步道都以其优美的环境、优良的设施和增值元素而脱颖而出。
So which fitness trails are the winners? And where are they? Perhaps there is one near where you live! The list, in no particular order:

- Olympic Sports Centre Smart Fitness Trail, Jianye District (建邺区奥体中心智慧健身步道)
- Binjiang Fitness Trail, Gulou District (鼓楼区滨江健身步道)
- Hubin Avenue Fitness Trail, Gaochun District (高淳区湖滨大道健身步道)

To highlight two in particular, at the Olympic Sports Centre Smart Fitness Trail, sports technology is integrated into walking exercise. The trail has the functions of face-recognition registration, walking-distance display, heart-rate notification, and interactive-intelligent fitness, among others.

Over in Jiangning District by Jiulong Lake, the fitness trail comprises not only running and cycle paths, but also basketball and tennis courts, a mini-football pitch and skate parks, as PSA Jiangning (江宁发布) reports.
据江宁PSA报道，在江宁区九龙湖畔，健身步道不仅包括跑步道和自行车道，还包括篮球场、网球场、迷你足球场和滑板公园。
The colourful Jiangning trail is 4.5-kilometres long, with a 2-kilometre section around the lake designated as an “ecological walkabout trail”.
色彩缤纷的江宁步道全长4.5公里，其中环湖段2公里被指定为“生态徒步步道”。
