This day, 30 July, in 1992, China submitted an official document to UNESCO which marked its formal accession to the “Universal Copyright Convention”. The move reflected China’s good intentions in improving its copyright protection system, promoting international literary, artistic and scientific exchanges, and well illustrated China’s deepening reform and expanding policy of “opening-up”.
