The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) made a joint declaration on building 30 national e-commerce demonstration cities, among which Xuzhou, Changzhou and Wuxi are listed, according to media report from Jiangsu on March 31.
The demonstration cities will fully play its role in using e-commerce to optimize allocation of resources, improve industrial structure and create more jobs, develop green economy, improve urban management and public service, bring forth new ideas in agriculture, manufacturing, traditional service sectors, as well as people’s livelihood and transnational business, to promote a rapid regional e-commerce development.
