The Second “Silk Road Youth Touring Program” targeting overseas students in Jiangsu started at the riverside of Xuanwu Lake in Nanjing on Dec 1.
60 youths from 21 countries along the One Belt and One Road will experience local cultures in Nanjing, Yangzhou and Wuxi.
After the launching ceremony, these youths with different skin colors pressed their fingers on the fingerprint wall, implying that “we are not the same, but we are all the same”.
“This implies the concept of peace and tolerance. People around the world should live together in peace and help and love each other,” said Xu Yaoren from Malaysia.
