Over 2,400 volunteers served the Yangzhou Jianzhen International Half Marathon on April 20. 90% of them are students from Yangzhou University and other universities in Yangzhou, and they were mostly born in or after 1990.
The post 90s generation is labeled as the “spoiled kids”, as most of them live an easy life with almost everything provided. However, these post 90s students in Yangzhou are refreshing their image by doing volunteer service. With advantage in language ability, they find their place in receiving the foreign guests.
