Nanjing Quarantine Seizes 202 Toxic Spiders

Staff of Nanjing Quarantine Bureau found 202 spiders in plastic pipes wrapped in two parcels sent over from Germany on 1st May. These spiders are highly valued and include conventional species and endangered breed. Some of them are offensive and toxic. A super fan of pets bought them from Germany and planned to raise and sell them. Prices for reptile pets online range from dozens of yuan to several hundred yuan. At present, the quarantine bureau has confiscated the spiders and decided to destroy them.
