TLScontact, a visa application center, opened in Shanghai on July 19. Short-term travelers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai only need to send their visa application materials to the company instead of going to the Netherlands Consulate in Shanghai for their visa. An industry insider in Suzhou said it will attract more people to travel to the Netherlands.

Consul General Peter Potman of the Netherlands in Shanghai introduced on his micro-blog that more than 50,000 Chinese people travel to the Netherlands every year. A total of 55,000 people applied for a visa to the Netherlands, and the number is expected to increase 10 percent this year.
