What would you do if you pick up a wallet containing more than 10,000 yuan (US$1,647) in cash and a bank draft worth 600,000 yuan (US$98,820)? Yu Jiaxue, a migrant worker living in Ma’an Subdistrict of Liuhe District in Nanjing, picked up such a wallet on Dec 20 and returned it to its owner.

Yu Chunlei lost his wallet after he got drunk on the evening of Dec 20. A cat on hot bricks, he received the call from the police that told him his wallet had been found. Retrieving his wallet at the police station, Yu took out 10,000 yuan from the wallet as a reward for Yu Jiaxue. But Yu refused and said: “The money I picked belongs to others, and one should earn money with his own hands.”

It’s rarely seen that the owner and finder have similar names. What’s more, the first seven numbers of their telephone numbers are exactly the same. Both the two said that they would keep in contact with such a “relative”.
