Lianyungang introduces volunteer ID card

Lianyungang has introduced the volunteer ID card system for 8,000 volunteers citywide, our reporter learned from Lianyungang Volunteers Association on July 20. Volunteers can clock on and off before and after voluntary activities. The POS machine will record their service time. To reward volunteers, the association managed to let volunteers enjoy special discounts in the dining and entertainment businesses of the city. Currently, 20 restaurants and stores in this city have joined the rewarding system. Each year, the association will select “star volunteers” according to their service time. The longer the volunteers serve, the more benefits they can enjoy.
