Jiangsu won three gold awards – two Chinese Patent Gold Awards and one Chinese Exterior Design Gold Award on the awarding ceremony for the 15th China Patent Award held in Beijing on Nov 11.
“A kind of drug used to clear away heat and remove toxicity and its method of preparation (patent number: 02114995.X)” developed by Jiangsu Kanion Pharmaceutical Co Ltd. won the Chinese Patent Gold Award. Another gold award winner is Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine Co Ltd. As the second patentee, its patent “pyrrolidone compound containing sulfonyl and its method of preparation and drug purpose (patent number: 00105899.1)” which is used in a product called Imrecoxib, is initiated by Hengrui in domestic and also the first of its kind in the world. The product is China’s first anti-inflammatory drug with the proprietary intellectual property right which has won the National New Drug Certificate and Production Approval Certificate in 2011. The “isocenter C-shape arm X ray camera (patent number: 201130016486.5)” by Nanjing Puai Radiograph Equipment Co Ltd won the Gold Award for Chinese Exterior Design.
China Patent Award, jointly sponsored by State Intellectual Property Office and World Intellectual Property Organization, has become an important platform that facilitates the development of intellectual property cause in China.
