A Russian memorial medal has been awarded to the Nanjing Aviation Martyrs Memorial Hall in recognition of its contribution to commemorations of Russian soldiers who voluntarily fought with the Chinese during World War II.
Evgeny Tomikhin, the Minister Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in China, gave the memorial medal marking the 70th anniversary of Victory Day to the memorial hall on Thursday.
