The policies and service measures for free passage on expressways over the upcoming short-term holidays were announced on March 25. The announcement was jointly made by Jiangsu Provincial Public Security Traffic and Patrol Department and Provincial Expressway and Highway Centre.
The toll-free period starts from 0:00 of April 4 till 24:00 of April 6. Five hours of transitional periods are set before the beginning time and after the finishing time. Jiangsu Province has introduced the policy to spare the charge for mini-buses (defined as the buses carrying no more than 7 passengers) on highways during the Qing Ming festival.
