Apple officially released its newest product, the iPhone 6 and iPhone6 Plus, in China on October 17th. Since then, Suning Appliance, alongside China’s three main operators, China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile, has offered the products synchronously in stores across Nanjing.
This is the first time that China’s three main operators are all co-operating with Apple.
Only 800,000 of the products were released by Apple into China’s mainland. Jiangsu has received 80,000 of these iPhones, 70 percent of which will be sold through major mobile channels.
Being the only channel in China’s mainland which has been authorized twice by Apple, Suning has received a total of nearly 10 million orders both online and offline. It seems that the quantity offered by Jiangsu at present is far capable of meeting consumer demand for Apple’s newest gadget.
