The free-ticket line for children at scenic spots in Jiangsu will “grow taller”, and children aged 6 or below or those whose height is 1.4 meters or shorter will enjoy free tickets to scenic spots according to Administrative Measures for Entrance Tickets and Relevant Service Prices at Scenic Spots in Jiangsu Province (hereinafter referred to as “New Measures”) that will be implemented since Feb 1 this year, reporters learned from Price Bureau of Jiangsu Province on Jan 12.

At present, the free-ticket policy applies to children under 1.3 meters, though some cities offer free tickets to children under 1.2 meters in Jiangsu province. Children nowadays are growing faster, and some are even 1.4 meters tall when in the first grade of primary school. So it is time to change the old standard.
