A strategic cooperation agreement is signed between the Industry Alliance of China 3D printing technology and Qixia Area & Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone on Mar 24, marking China’s first 3D printer technology innovation center to be settled in Nanjing.
This agreement is designed to explore a 3D printing technology development model in order to help Nanjing transform and upgrade traditional industrial. The 3D printing now is lack of a successful business model. Experts and entrepreneurs hope to build 3D online business platform, 3D print technology industry fund and 3D Printing Industry Headquarters base.
According to reports, Nanjing leads in 3D printing technology in the nation, even in the world. Nanjing Zijin-Lead Electronics Co., Ltd has a unique 3D printing technology–LOM (Laminated Object Manufacturing). Its products are sold to more than 30 countries and regions including the United States, Germany, Britain and France. The company is now working on “direct manufacturing of complex large metal structure”, a core technology of 3D printing, and a model machine has been made.
