The export in Southern Jiangsu enjoyed rapid growth in January, playing a positive role in maintaining a steady and rapid momentum of foreign trade development in the whole province. Suzhou takes up 50 percent of the province’s total export.
Statistics show that Suzhou’s import and export reaches US$24.83 billion this January with a year-on-year increase of 9.1 percent, taking up 51.8 percent of the province’s total. Its export generated revenue of US$14.45 billion, up by 12.0 percent and taking up a half of the province’s total.
