To greet its seventh birthday, THE NANJIGNER, a popular magazine of local guide for foreigners, took on a new look in its latest issue, which is also the first time for the magazine to make a change.

Apart from other changes, the newly-invented typeface is especially eye-catching. “The designers were inspired by the modern architecture of Nanjing, and in particular, the many bridges that are such an important part of life for many in this city, which is dominated by two rivers of great historic and cultural significance to China,” introduced Frank, editor-in-chief of the magazine. The typeface color will change with each issue.

First published in 2010, THE NANJINGER now has a broad audience, from young kids of six or seven years old to seniors of sixties to seventies. It can be got in more than 150 places like schools, restaurants, hospitals and other public occasions.
