The second Youth Olympics, to be held here in Nanjing from 16 to 28 August, looms ever closer. In response to numerous enquiries from expats, the Nanjing International Community Clubhouse has attained ticket agency status from the YOG authorities.
As an official one-stop shop for expats in Nanjing looking for the tickets to the Games, the Clubhouse can help simplify the ordering process by offering facilities unavailable from other outlets, such as English service and personalized delivery of tickets.
So if you are looking for tickets to any of the many events and disciplines, simply follow our four-step guide below.
Step 1
Look through the event schedule and decide which tickets you would like to buy by visiting the official YOG site:- tickets.nanjing2014.org. You may also like to download the guide to ticket pricing:- tickets.nanjing2014.org/Price_list_en.pdf
Step 2
Make a note of the following:-
The discipline, e.g. K14:Wrestling Finals
The date, e.g. Tuesday 26 Aug 2014
The type of ticket, e.g. ￥300 per ticket, Parent + child (3). Subtotal: ￥465
Step 3
Visit us in the Community Clubhouse (3F, Pagoda Building, the British School of Nanjing) to reserve and pay for the tickets by cash. At this point you may also choose to have the ticket(s) delivered to you by courier to avoid another in-person visit. You should also provide us with a contact name and telephone number should any follow up be necessary.
Please note that in the case of the opening and closing ceremonies it will also be necessary to provide the following information for each ticket holder:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Passport Number
- Nationality
Step 4
Wait for your tickets to arrive or collect them in person from the Community Clubhouse between 18 and 27 June.
Notes
- A service fee of 10% of the total ticket price will be payable, along with ￥5 for delivery by courier if applicable
- The Nanjing International Community Clubhouse is open from 8.30am until 4.30pm Monday-Friday
- Should you wish to pay electronically and have your ticket(s) sent to you by courier, contact us with the above information by email to yogticket@sinoconnexion.com

- Applications for tickets shall close on 17 June. Should demand persist after this date, we shall make alternative arrangements for collection during the school holidays
