The “full automatic portable water purifier based on nano-silver carried by bacteria cellulose”, which was developed by Yin Xinxing, Li Ya’nan et al from School of Chemical Engineering of Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NUST), is able to purify untreated natural water in harsh filed environments within a short time.
This water purifier not only can realize the purification at one go, but also is equipped with the collapsible portable solar panel which can recharge other small electronic devices while ensuring the normal operation of the system. The works has won the second prize in the 13th “Challenge Cup” Extracurricular Academic and Technological Works Final for College Students in China.
