A “China Mobile 4G” bus made a debut along the route of Nanjing Bus No. 21 on Jan 6. The bus is open to the public for free and passengers can experience free China Mobile 4G network on board.

Connecting to 4G is as easy as ABC: You get on the bus, enable your phone’s WiFi, search for the CMCC-4G network, visit a web page and enter the verification code. Then you can login and enjoy the free high-speed 4G network with the entire process taking less than 30 seconds.

While the bus is on the way, workers from China Mobile also demonstrated video calls between two 4G phones. The one-minute video call is clear and smooth without buffering or pauses. iPhone users can also make video calls with friends with a WiFi connection.

According to the latest 4G construction plan, Jiangsu Mobile will strive to complete its 4G coverage on Chengxi express way in the west of the city and the Middle Jiangdong Road. Conversion equipment will also be installed at these stations to convert 4G network into WiFi signals for passengers to have free enjoyment, such as watching online movies and chatting at a 40Mbps download speed while waiting.
