23rd China Orchid Expo kicks off in Taicang

The 23rd China Orchid Expo opened on April 12 in Taicang, Jiangsu province, marking the first time that the city hosted the event. The three-day expo‘s theme “Fragrant South China, Beautiful Taicang”, focused – also for the first time – on a combination of the orchid expo with modern agriculture, and south China’s ancient gardens. The expo was sponsored by the orchid branch of the China Flower Association, and various activities were held, including a selection of the best orchids and various activities related to trade and culture.
