100 Chinese firms are listed as Top 500 companies this year, released by “Fortune” Magazine on July 7, 2014. The total number of Chinese entities has grown for an 11th successive year.
Two Jiangsu companies entered the list this year. Besides Zhangjiagang-based Jiangsu Shagang Group, which has been reelected for the 6th time, Nanjing-based China Pacific Construction Group is among the list for the first time ranking as the top 1 private enterprise in China mainland.
China Pacific Construction Group is a large-scale group that focuses on investment and construction on infrastructures. It has invested or constructed more than 1000 city projects as well as over 3000 industrial parks in the past 20 years, including many provincial or national key projects.
