On this Day in Chinese History; 6 October

This day, 6 October, in 1995, the Seventh International Anti-Corruption Conference opened in Beijing, with the theme of “Anti-corruption and Social Stability and Development”. More than 900 government officials, judges, prosecutors, lawyers, experts and professors from 89 countries and regions attended the conference, while President, Jiang Zemin, attended the opening to deliver a speech.
