On this Day in Chinese History; 30 October

This day, 30 October, in 1954, a ten-member delegation of the Red Cross Society of China visited Japan and met with the Japanese Red Cross Society, together with people from all walks of life, conveying the friendly feelings of the Chinese and hopes to coexist peacefully and have long-term friendship with the people of Japan, and jointly prevent the recurrence of war.
