The “Impression – Zhen’s Artworks” exhibition, centering on modern embroidery artworks by Zhu Shouzhen, kicked off at Jiangsu Arts and Crafts Museum in Nanjing. Nearly 100 pieces of original works and embroidery painting papers by Suzhou’s embroidery master Zhu Shouzhen were exhibited.
Most of the embroidery exhibitions will be sent to Milan Expo in Italy. Zhu Shouzhen will also serve as a representative of Chinese artists to carry out exchanges in Italy. Zhu Shouzhen’s patent embroidery skills including fine needle, elegant needle, sprinkle needle and artistic needles have enriched the forms of Suzhou embroidery.
