This day, 26 December, in 1962, the China-Mongolia Boundary Treaty was signed in Beijing by Premier Zhou Enlai and General Secretary Yumjaagiin Tsedenbal on behalf of the Chinese and Mongolian governments, respectively. The treaty stipulated the location of all border lines between the two countries, formally delimited the China-Mongolia border and properly resolved border issues left over from history.
