This day, 16 June, in 1994, the Information Office of the State Council issued a white paper entitled, “The Status of Intellectual Property Protection in China”, expounding China’s intentions to abide by relevant international conventions and bilateral agreements on protecting intellectual property rights, and its ability to fully assume the associated international obligations.
