Spare a thought for embattled small businesses right now. Two come to mind immediately. As mentioned before, taxi drivers are struggling against ride sharing apps. Some of them have started using them to get business. Talk again of a strike is heading in the wrong direction as it will drive more people to download the apps. No joy for people making winter clothing around here. Have you even used your heaviest winter coat this year? No need for extra thick underwear either. There must be some other industries who are suffering from either climate change or technology, or both.
